HMUN 10TH SESSION

Hanoi Model United Nations 10th Session Main Conference took place at British University Vietnam from the 19th to the 21st of July, 2024.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • HMUN 10th Session marked the Organization's tenth Main Conference, continuing to assert its position in the MUN community in Vietnam.

  • HMUN 10th Session offered a space for passionate young people to express themselves and reflect on their own ambitions and aims, while highlighting the role of diplomacy and unity through the theme “The New Maverick”.

  • HMUN’24 had the honor of featuring five distinguished guest speakers:

    Professor Nguyen Hong Thao – Member of the International Law Commission of the United Nations, Deputy Chairman of the National Boundary Commission (MoFA)
    Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Thuy - the National Coordinator of the Labour Migration Program, International Labour Organization in Hanoi
    Associate Professor Doctor Dao Tuan Thanh – Former Head of Department of History at Hanoi University of Education
    Mr. Aleksander Surdej – the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Vietnam
    Mr. Conor Finn – Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Ireland in Vietnam

    These honorable guest speakers shared their knowledge and insights on various issues related to the Conference’s Theme and Topics in our workshop.
